Role Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer to work on Delivery and support of cloud platform for Advanced Products. This exciting role requires an
innovative individual taking previous experience to identify opportunities to automate and
improve existing and new cloud platform builds primarily on AWS platform.

This position is remote in UK.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement AWS-based cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Creating required CICD pipelines, provisioning IaC on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain automation & orchestration.
  • Operational maintenance/management of various environments through IaC to manage service SLAs and cost optimisation, security and stability.
  • Collaborating with product developers to deploy and operate a CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Harness and Gitlab on AWS stacks.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving pipeline, automation, application and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Drive cloud maturity of the products, validate against well architected framework to enable cost optimisation, performance efficiency, security guardrails.
  • Build common reusable components, templates.
  • Guide and advise the developers on leveraging AWS and DevOps tools and practices

What You Will Have

  • Candidate to must have skills to design, implement (as IaC) and maintaining (as IaC) AWS architecture for the deployment and maintenance of SAAS applications through CICD

    • Required
      • Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of hands on DevOps experience utilising AWS.
      • Experience with AWS Services like EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, VPC, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloud Watch, Cloud trail, Step Functions, SSM, Cloud Formation, CDK etc
      • Experience in developing automation & orchestration combining systems, services with scripted/programmed functions.
      • Experience developing CICD Pipelines integration with pre-defined pipeline templates for SAAS based applications using Docker and K8s
      • Experience in database technology RDBMS and NoSQL
      • Hands-on experience with one or more scripting/programming languages (e.g. NodeJS, Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, Java, C#)
      • Able to quickly learn new technologies and apply knowledge to create solutions.
      • Strong problem-solving skills
      • Strong communication, written and verbal.
      • Experience managing stakeholders management
      • Good documentation skills
    • Desirable
      • Experience in Architecting and supporting cloud based products
      • Experience in PowerShell & Bash
      • Experience with Harness
      • Experience with New Relic
      • Experience in Agile methodology
