Role Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our software company as a Senior Sales Support Specialist. A Senior Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth sales operations and customer satisfaction.  As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for providing operational support to the sales team, providing troubleshooting assistance and support for our Platinum and Gold accounts with complex customer resolution aligned to our Commercial Units.

What You Will Do

  • Provide support to our Platinum and Gold accounts supporting our Sales team to resolve complex customer queries
  • Provide route cause analysis of issues and offering recommendations for improvements to our customer and business experience
  • Accountable for management of Deal Desk for the CU, including active management of the call, ensuring high quality of process, inputs and follow up on deliverables
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals, quotes, and contracts in collaboration with the sales team, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure correct pricing and collateral is being used by the sales team.
  • Follow up on sales leads and inquiries for Platinum and Gold customers, ensuring correct allocation to Sales Team.

What You Will Have

  • Proven experience in a sales support, sales operations or customer services, preferably in a software or technology company
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality control in all sales support activities
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated success communicating with various levels within an organization.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software such as Salesforce, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams and external customers professionally.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to empathize, solve problems, and provide exceptional support.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual, capable of working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Commercially aware
  • Familiarity with software sales processes and terminology would be an advantage.
