The Head of Infrastructure is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of an organisation's IT infrastructure. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to ensure the company's infrastructure supports its current and future needs while adhering to best practices and security standards.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives. This includes anticipating future technology needs, evaluating emerging trends, and making recommendations for infrastructure investments.

Vendor Management: Evaluate and select vendors and service providers for infrastructure-related products and services. Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure that vendors deliver value for money and meet SLAs.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing infrastructure team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, allocating resources effectively to meet strategic objectives while controlling costs and maximizing ROI.
