Role Introduction

Advanced is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Salesforce Integration and CPQ Team Lead. In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for designing and constructing technical solutions that align with business objectives during a transformative phase.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Architect Technical Solutions: Lead technical design sessions, documenting solutions that bridge the gap between current and desired states.
  • Coding Standards and Quality Assurance: Define coding standards and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality solutions and adherence to design patterns.
  • Technical Delivery Management: Oversee custom development, integrations, and data migration within Salesforce implementations.
  • Team Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams, including business analysts, configurators, and developers.
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for Salesforce CPQ and Billing, providing comprehensive knowledge and guidance.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead the Salesforce team, ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Collaboration with Consultants: Coordinate with third-party consultants for successful project outcomes.
  • Data Governance: Maintain a structured and efficient Salesforce environment.
  • Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for Salesforce technical solutions, data management, and integrations.
  • Salesforce Org Implementation: Advise on seamless integration and functionality for new Salesforce orgs.
  • Enhance Existing Integrations: Assist in enhancing and optimizing existing integrations.

What You Will Have

  • Hands-On Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on Salesforce CPQ and Billing experience, coupled with an additional 3 years as a Salesforce Developer. Your track record should include successfully delivering end-to-end, lead-to-cash solutions at an enterprise level, leveraging customized Salesforce Billing and CPQ processes.
  • Certifications: You’ll hold relevant Salesforce certifications, including:
    o CPQ Specialist
    o Industries CPQ Developer
    o Integration Architect
    o Data Architect
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit excellent interpersonal and team-building skills, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Salesforce Org Implementation: Proven experience in implementing new Salesforce orgs, with a strong grasp of Revenue Cloud. Your adaptability and innovative mindset will be key, along with an in-depth understanding of Salesforce data structures to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Multi-Cloud Solutions: Understand multi-cloud Salesforce solutions, encompassing the Salesforce product suite, including Sales CloudService CloudCommunitiesAppExchange, and complementary technologies.
  • Data Integration Expertise: You’ll have knowledge of data integration tools, with a preference for Boomi. Your experience integrating Salesforce with various business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, Kantata, and NetSuite) will be invaluable.
  • SOQL Proficiency: Competence in SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) for effective data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Best Practices and Deployment: Strong understanding of environment managementrelease managementcode versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies. Familiarity with Gearset is preferred.
  • Apex Development: Extensive experience in developing Apex VF Controllers and Apex Triggers.
  • Front-End Skills: Proficiency in VisualForceXMLJavascriptAura ComponentsSalesforce CLI, and HTML design and development.
  • Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with Service ContractsDocusignCPQ, and Conga.
  • Advanced Flows: Skilled at creating, designing, and implementing advanced Flows within Salesforce.
  • End-to-End Processes: Possess end-to-end knowledge of lead-to-billing processes.
  • Agile and Kanban: Familiarity with Agile and Kanban methodologies for project management, including tools like JIRA.
