Director of Engineering - People

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Engineering - People to join our organization. As the Director, you will lead our efforts in leveraging technology to enhance the client employee experience, enable effective people management, and drive organizational success. • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for our engineering initiatives in people management and employee experience, aligned with our business objectives and industry best practices.
• Lead and manage a high-performing team of engineers, data analysts fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Design and architect scalable and secure technology services that enhance talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement in the people sector.
• Collaborate closely with HR, talent management, and organizational development teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective technology services.
• Implement best practices and standards for engineering and software development, ensuring high quality and reliability in our people management applications and systems.
• Stay updated on the latest HR systems, people analytics, employee engagement tools, and industry trends to continuously enhance our engineering capabilities to develop innovative technology services.
• Work closely with executive leadership and stakeholders to align engineering initiatives with our overall business goals and people strategy.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams, ensuring they adhere to engineering best practices and follow agile development methodologies.
• Foster strong relationships with technology partners, vendors, and industry experts to leverage their knowledge and expertise in enhancing our people management services.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and evaluate their potential applications to drive innovation, promote employee well-being, and enable effective people management practices.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in engineering and software development, with a focus on HR systems, people analytics, or employee experience platforms.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems, talent management practices, and people analytics methodologies.
• Expertise in designing and developing scalable, secure, and user-centric applications and systems for people management purposes.
• Familiarity with relevant HR regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications in HR, project management, or related areas are highly desirable.
