Role Introduction

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow solution Architect who will be based remote but will work as part of a team to design, develop, improve and optimise our ServiceNow platform and solution. You will be pivotal in the success of our service offering to current and future customers demonstrating your knowledge and skill-set to support sales with ServiceNow solutions. 

What You Will Do

  • Provide High Level Design and specifications for ServiceNow implementation
  • Lead development and implementation of ServiceNow applications in the area of ITSM and PPM
  • Customize ServiceNow configurations, including custom scripts
  • Perform system and integration testing
  • Knowledge and experience of defining application and data architecture road-maps for significant business / functional scopes
  • Experience of defining and running architecture governance processes, and of shaping and communicating architectural strategy
  • Extensive experience of developing, syndicating and communicating initial business cases and cases for action
  • An understanding of good development and testing practices
  • Experience of Scaled Agile Framework methodologies, and a broad knowledge of business practices, processes and tools
  • Partner closely with executive stakeholders and their teams around delivering solutions in ServiceNow to key business initiatives
  • Able to work with a high degree of accuracy and have a strong attention to detail
  • An excellent communicator with developer management experience
  • Evaluates new features in the platform with ServiceNow releases and the suitability/applicability in the current environment
  • Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with the Project Manager
  • Development for integrations including web services(SOAP/REST), DBC, Mid server
  • Designing, implementing and enhancing various application modules in Service-Now including Incident, Problem, Asset and Configuration, Change, SLM, Service Catalog, etc
  • Responsible for meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements
  • Share best practices and be consultative throughout the technical design of the project
  • Maintain current Service-Now knowledge through self-study and utilization of available training
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal team members

What You Will Have

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow core application UI and workflow configuration, report development, integration components
  • Expert level understanding of client side and server side scripting - business rules, script actions, script includes
  • Deep expertise in several technical domains
  • Proven ability to drive complex technical solutions which may include both legacy and converging technology use at an enterprise level and business process change through education and partnership with stakeholders
  • 3+ year experience in ServiceNow development/ architecture
  • Expert level understanding of client and server APIs (ex
  • Expert level understanding of Java JAR development for the ServiceNow MID Server
  • In-depth understanding and hands-on application of Service Management business processes
  • Experience integrating with other cloud based and legacy client business and IT platforms (Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Remedy)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, hardware engineering, or relevant degree is preferred
