Due to continued growth, we are looking for a confident Senior Project Manager to join the Managed Services Business Unit within OneAdvanced, to focus on Microsoft Dynamics and Power Applications customer change projects.

 

With a specific focus on our Microsoft Dynamics and Power Applications Practice, you will be part of a team of Professional Services Project Managers within our managed services business.  Your mission will be to drive quality and value for our customers whilst maintaining high quality delivery within the Project Team. You’ll lead a team of analysts, architects and consultants and work closely with stakeholders such as our customers, Presales Architects, Account Managers and Operations resources.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for the delivery of application development and configuration projects for customers of our Dynamics and Power Apps service.
  • Ensure the customer experience and overall customer satisfaction is at the forefront of each client engagement.
  • Using both waterfall and/or agile delivery methods, to drive measurable value creation for our customers in line with agreed statements of work.
  • Project control – Applying control to the project. This will be reported on a weekly basis both internally and to the key stakeholders.
  • Team leadership – Taking responsibility for establishing the environment necessary for the project team to successfully complete the required work.
  • Relationship management – Establishing good working relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Matrix team management – taking responsibility to ensure the resources and skills required to deliver the project are managed.
  • Technical Management – having sufficient technical appreciation to drive the resolution of project issues and impediments as they arise, and be capable of interfacing with customer, internal, business and technical leads to resolve.
  • Excellent Judgement – the ability to understand when to resolve and when to escalate.
  • Taking Financial responsibility for the budget and profit of implementation projects.
  • Work with the Project Office to ensure that all Services are invoiced according to the terms of the customer contracts.
  • Help to deliver effective utilisation across the ITO Professional Services Project Delivery team.

What You Will Have

  • You’ll have experience of leading delivery teams on Microsoft Dynamics and Power Applications projects (both new implementations and enhancements to existing).
  • You’ll have knowledge and a point of view on how Microsoft Power Platform, Modern Workplace, Cloud Technologies and the Dataverse combine to enable business transformation.
  • You’ll have a high level of commercial acumen, honed through your experience delivering projects in a professional services, consulting or customer facing supply-side delivery environment.
  • You’ll be a certified expert in traditional project methodologies e.g. Prince2 or APM and in agile with experience of implementing Scrum in a team that has a low level of agile maturity
  • You can inspire and lead a project team to strive for delivery excellence and continuous improvement
  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • You are a natural collaborator, driven to ensure your team is enabled to focus on value creation and progress by spotting and removing impediments.
  • You are highly analytical and able to work to KPIs (including utilisation, daily rates, backlog)
  • A strong ability to lead discussions and gain agreement on the method of implementing the solution for the customer by setting their expectations at the correct level
  • Have a high-level understanding of the functionality of the company products as required
  • Strong organisation skills (time management, administration etc.)
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Experience of using tools like Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow
