As a Senior People Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and success by providing strategic HR guidance and expertise. You will coach & advise our managers as well as support in the implementation of HR initiatives that align with our organisational goals whilst contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This role will be based in our Bangalore office, with a reporting line into our People Business Partner in the UK and a dotted line into our Head of People Ops in India.
HR Support & Guidance:
· Be the key point of contact for the management within function, for support on HR policies and procedures.
· Ensure managers are equipped with appropriate knowledge, tools and training to effectively manage employee relations cases such as performance management, absence management, disciplinaries and wellbeing.
· Working closely with the People Business Partner and Head of People Ops to support initiatives such as talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and compensation and benefits.
· Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through initiatives such as diversity and inclusion programs.
India Labor Laws:
· Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, including the Industrial Disputes Act, Minimum Wages Act, and Contract Labor Act.
· Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify potential risks and implement corrective measures.
· Represent the organisation in labor disputes and legal proceedings.
Other Responsibilities:
· Uses data to proactively identify performance and absence concerns within the organisation
· Manages exit interviews for their function and translates the data into suggested actions that may contribute to the People Business Partner’s overall People Plan.
· Provides support and input into the People Plan and overall WFP
· Actively interested and understands the overall strategy for the organisation and their contribution to its success
· Works alongside the wider People Teams to share knowledge, provide insights and update on local initiatives.

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR role within a software product company.
· Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
· Proven ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and employees at all levels.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
