Role Introduction

We are looking for an IT Asset & Config Team Leader who will assist with and be responsible for, the delivery of the Asset and Configuration Management service across multiple ITO customers and sites, following IT Service Management best practice and an ITIL based framework.

 

The successful candidate will maintain a focus on Continual Service Improvement by ensuring development of people within their team in both skillset and attributes that encompass the Advanced core values along with identifying opportunities for service improvement and efficiencies.

What You Will Do

  • Provide management and guidance across the IT asset and configuration management service for our customers.
  • Have a clear understanding of the contracts that you are supporting and understanding of the business areas responsible for delivering them
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure service excellence is delivered.
  • Remain customer obsessed throughout all your work to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • A proactive approach to self and team development
  • To be a first point of escalation and facilitator to overcome day-to-day issues.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the customer and internal Advanced teams (including being a point of escalation)
  • Model best practice behaviours within the team. 
  • Continually look for ways to improve performance and the customer experience 

What You Will Have

  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to drive and maintain a positive culture.
  • Strong Customer and Communication Skills at all levels
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to mentor and develop your team.
  • Dedicated to the Advanced core values.
  • Capable of working with technichal teams (support and delivery) managing software and hardware configuration items within a mature lifecycle management process.
  • A proven track record in delivering and working within a formal, ITIL based framework using ITSM/ITAM methodologies for Asset and Configuration Management, ideally in a Managed Services environment where services are being delivered across multiple customers.
  • Ability to analyse data and report against customer deliverables
