Role Introduction

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Developer with a robust skill set in NetSuite ERP, CRM, Suite Commerce, and NetSuite technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in SuiteScript 2.0, Suite Flow, Suite Cloud framework, and extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, Financials, and/or NetSuite OneWorld.

What You Will Do

 

Enhancement and Customization of NetSuite Functionality

 

Objective: Successfully design, develop, and implement custom scripts, workflows, and SuiteScripts to enhance the functionality of NetSuite in

                  alignment with business requirements.

  • Develop high-quality custom scripts using SuiteScript 2.0 and SuiteFlow to address specific business challenges.
  • Automate core business processes and workflows, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual work.
  • Customize NetSuite components using SuiteBuilder, ensuring configurations are optimized for business needs.

Performance Metrics:

  • Percentage of business requirements successfully automated through custom scripts and workflows.
  • User feedback on system improvements and customizations.
  • Timeliness and quality of script delivery, measured by successful deployments and minimal troubleshooting.
  1. Integration of NetSuite with Other Business Applications

Objective: Design and implement seamless integrations between NetSuite and other critical business applications to streamline operations and ensure data consistency.

  • Implement integration solutions using SuiteTalk, SuiteScript, and third-party integration tools (e.g., Dell Boomi).
  • Ensure high data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization through integration and act on them.

Performance Metrics:

  • Successful implementation of integrations with minimal data discrepancies.
  • Time taken to complete integration projects, including any delays or issues encountered.
  • Reduced manual intervention required to synchronize data across systems.
  1. System Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Objective: Regularly monitor system performance, proactively address issues, and apply updates to ensure optimal system health.

  • Perform regular checks and maintenance tasks on NetSuite to optimize system performance and user experience.
  • Identify and resolve system issues promptly to minimize disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with teams to address any functional or technical bugs in a timely manner.

Performance Metrics:

  • Reduction in system downtime and issues.
  • Average response and resolution time for technical problems.
  • Number of system updates and patches applied without impacting business operations.
  1. Technical Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

Objective: Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation for all customizations, scripts, workflows, and integrations.

  • Document all custom scripts, workflows, and integrations thoroughly to ensure knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability.
  • Ensure that documentation is kept up-to-date with system changes and enhancements.
  • Promote knowledge sharing by educating other team members on customizations and new features.

Performance Metrics:

  • Quality and completeness of technical documentation (clear, accessible, and well-organized).
  • Frequency and relevance of internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Usage and feedback on documentation by internal teams.

What You Will Have

Required Competencies and Capabilities:

  1. Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteCloud Framework.
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, XML, and JSON.
    • Experience with object-oriented programming concepts and languages.
    • Familiarity with third-party integration tools like Dell Boomi.
    • Strong understanding of NetSuite’s data model and functionality.
  2. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues effectively.
    • Ability to proactively monitor and optimize system performance.
  3. Communication and Collaboration:

    • Clear communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet objectives.
  4. Attention to Detail and Quality:

    • Commitment to delivering high-quality, maintainable code with minimal errors.
    • Strong documentation skills to ensure transparency and knowledge transfer.
