Role Introduction

Join our team, where our customers are at the core of everything we do. As a Professional Services Network Consultant, you will play an important role in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance network infrastructures.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a confident CCNP/CCIE level networking consultant to join the team.

What You Will Do

You will perform customer facing network design and implementation work within Professional Services projects:

  • Producing exceptional quality, customer facing HLD and LLD documentation.
  • Collaborating with third parties, internal pre-sales and Professional Services colleagues to develop technical solutions and roadmaps.
  • Planning, Designing, implementing and testing varied project such as, but not limited to
    • SD-Access
    • WAN/LAN/Wifi Refresh
    • Firewall Refresh
    • DC Migration/relocation
    • SD-WAN
  • Configure and optimize NMS tools such as
    • Cisco Catalyst Center
    • Cisco ISE (Policy Sets and Tacacs)
    • LogicMonitor
    • Solarwinds
  • Lead troubleshooting and performance optimisation efforts where required

What You Will Have

  • This is a Cisco biased role i.e Catalyst, Nexus, Firepower, ISE, Meraki etc - but you will have the ability to work across vendor agnostic routers, switches and firewalls
  • Particular experience with SD-Access and SDA components including fabric design and segmentation across Cisco 9K series switches and 9K series AP’s
  • Exposure and expertise in the following network technologies:
    • RF Design
    • Linux – Shell/Python/Perl Scripting
    • Network Automation
    • HPE Networking
    • Palo Alto
    • Fortinet
  • Excellent problem-solving skills at packet and frame level (know your headers and your SYNs from your FINs)
  • Experience on hosting, co-lo, private cloud and IT Managed Services
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Be a self-motivated, disciplined, enthusiastic and resilient multitasker

Certifications

 

One or more of the following accreditations:

  • CCNP - Enterprise or equivalent.
  • Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Core, Wireless Design, or SD-WAN.
  • CCIE
