Role Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head our Project Management team within Managed Services to lead our Professional Services customer engagements. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will take ownership of driving exceptional customer service and commercial success for this rapidly growing team.

As the Head of Project Management, you will lead and continuously develop the Project Management function within OneAdvanced’s Professional Services division. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of customer projects, including cloud migrations, digital transformation programmes, and IT managed service transitions. You will drive best practices in project management, improve delivery efficiency, and ensure projects are aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and management skills, a commercial mindset, and deep experience in managing complex IT and cloud-related projects within a professional services or consulting environment.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Project Management team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the successful execution of multiple, concurrent projects across Azure cloud, managed services, and digital transformation.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for customer escalations and key project-related decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with the company project delivery framework, regularly reviewing and adapting to ensure it is continuously fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate with other Operational Team Managers to ensure seamless delivery of Professional Services projects

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Ensure projects align with customer business outcomes, ensuring high satisfaction and strong NPS scores.
  • Own the financial performance of the Project Management function, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and margin expectation.
  • Support pre-sales engagements, providing input on project scoping, pricing, and contractual commitments.
  • Develop career pathways for project managers, fostering skill development and certifications.
  • Define a training and development roadmap for the project management team
  • Promote our winning culture of customer centricity, accountability and ownership

What You Will Have

Essential:

  • Proven experience leading a Project Management function within a Professional Services or IT Managed Services organisation.
  • Strong background in delivering IT transformation, cloud migration, and managed service transition projects.
  • Extensive experience with PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile frameworks and project governance best practices.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in project P&L management, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to engage at C-level with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing and scaling high-performing project teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platforms, Azure Cloud, and ITIL-based service transitions.
  • Knowledge of value chain analysis and how project management interacts across business functions.
  • Experience in pre-sales engagements and commercial negotiations.

  • Project Delivery Success Rate – Percentage of projects delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Customer Satisfaction & NPS – Customer feedback scores and retention rates.
  • Project Margin & Financial Performance – Profitability of delivered projects.
  • PMO Maturity & Process Adherence – Consistency in project governance and framework adoption.
  • Team Engagement & Development – Employee satisfaction, training certifications, and career progression metrics.
