Role Introduction

We are looking for an exceptional Head of New Business Sales to lead, manage, and drive our high-performing sales team targeting the legal sector. You will play a pivotal role in both the day-to-day management of the team and shaping the strategic direction of the business as we continue to grow and evolve rapidly.

What You Will Do

Main Duties and Responsibilities – Sales Process & Management

  • Lead the Team – Manage, inspire, and develop a high-performing New Business Sales team, ensuring strong sales execution and excellent customer engagement.
  • Own the Numbers – Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking to ensure the team meets and exceeds targets.
  • Drive Strategy – Play a key role in shaping the company’s go-to-market strategy, working closely with senior leadership to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Be Hands-On – Get involved in high-value deals, coaching and supporting the team to drive multi-level stakeholder engagement.
  • Implement Best Practice – Develop and implement sales methodologies that improve conversion rates, ensuring a data-driven and performance-focused culture.

Main Duties and Responsibilities – People & Leadership

  • Set Clear Objectives – Define and communicate clear goals, expectations, and success metrics for the sales team.
  • Attract and Develop Talent – Build a team of high-performing sales professionals through effective recruitment, coaching, and development.
  • Mentor and Support – Act as a hands-on leader, providing guidance and training to the team, particularly in deal strategy and negotiations.
  • Expand Networks – Take ownership of developing relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers to enhance market positioning.

What You Will Have

  • Proven experience in leading and managing new business-focused sales teams within the technology sector.
  • A strong track record of delivering against new business sales targets and driving high-performance sales cultures.
  • Experience in SaaS-based solution sales is highly advantageous.
  • Experience selling to the legal sector would also be a significant advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing sales professionals.
  • A data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
