What You Will Do

Forming an integral part of the Product Marketing department this role exists to bring our products to life, whether that is updates, announcements or new product launches.

 

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement a product video content strategy: Aligning video efforts with overall product strategy, Go-To-Markets (GTMs) and business objectives.
  • Identify target audience and their needs: Understanding what kind of video content will resonate with our B2B clients and prospects.
  • Plan video production schedules and budgets: Managing resources and timelines effectively.

 Content Creation & Production

  • You will oversee the entire video production process: From concept development to final delivery.
  • Develop video concepts and scripts: Working with the Product Marketers develop compelling narratives that effectively communicate our products value proposition.
  • Direct video shoots: Where required you will be ask to direct in-house video shoots, ensuring high-quality filming and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Create various types of video content: Including explainer videos, roadmap announcements, product demos, customer testimonials and more.
  • Video editing and post-production: Ensuring the final product is polished and engaging.

 Distribution & Promotion

  • Optimise videos for various platforms: Including the company website, social media (LinkedIn, YouTube), email campaigns, and other relevant channels.
  • Manage video distribution and sharing: Ensuring videos reach the target audience effectively.
  • Track and analyse video performance: Using analytics to measure the effectiveness of the videos produced and make data-driven decisions.

 Collaboration & Communication

You will often be required to work in virtual Go-to-Market (GTM) teams and alongside colleagues from other teams to ensure that the video content we produce aligns to our business goals, strategic messages and launch activity

What You Will Have

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all stages of the video production lifecycle (conceptualisation, pre-production, production, post-production)
  • Mastery of industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Audition)
  • Understanding of video codecs, formats, and delivery specifications for various platforms
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects software (e.g. Adobe After Effects)
  • Familiarity with video asset management and archiving best practices
  • Understanding of various video platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, social media) and their specific requirements plus tools like Canva
  • Awareness of SEO principles for video content optimization.
  • Understanding of emerging video technologies (e.g., AI in video production, interactive video)
  • At least 2 years previous video production experience
  • Experience in collaborating within virtual teams
  • A high standard of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills
  • Creative, proactive and organised
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and use project management tools like Asana, Monday and Click Up
