Senior People Advisor
The role will report into one of the People Business Partners and support a function. The role will cover end to end People processes, linking in closely with our L&D, TA and Reward/Ops teams.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing guidance, support and advise to our functional managers on People
processes. Upskilling and coaching individuals to allow them to lead their teams
effectively.
• Monitoring, tracking and handling ER casework. Ensuring managers are equipped to
lead on these processes and intervening where required.
• Reporting and analysis of HR metrics, pulling out key themes or trends, providing
proactive initiatives driven by data insights, and providing regular reports and updates to
the People Business Partner and managers.
• Proactively leading people initiatives or programmes of work, taking on project
management, agreeing milestones and proactively ensuring deadlines are met
• Working with the ER manager to update People policies and processes, associated HR
templates, any linked training materials or associated workflows ensuring compliance
and best practice is maintained.
• Champion diversity and inclusion, creating a sense of belonging and being the
ambassador of positive change to foster an inclusive working environment for all
employees.
• Working with the talent team and PBP on workforce management, flagging flight risks,
development opportunities and supporting succession planning within the functions.
• Working with L&D and PBP on the development and training needs within function,
capturing requests, needs and following up to ensure effectiveness of courses.
• Leading on engagement action planning within function, driving initiatives and tracking
of progress of actions, providing suggestions and insights for the management team to
ultimate support improved engagement.
• Support & lead were required on People projects, including processes such as M&A &
TUPE.
• Horizon scanning of trends in the market and legislation changes – upskilling and
sharing best practice. Take initiative to prioritise continual professional development.
