Join OneAdvanced

At OneAdvanced, we deliver innovative IT solutions that help organisations operate more effectively. Our people play a critical role in that success, and we’re looking for an experienced People Partner to join the team and make a tangible difference to how our business is supported through people decisions.

This is a hands-on, operational People Partner role, working closely with senior leaders to deliver pragmatic, high-impact people solutions. You’ll be a trusted advisor with the confidence and credibility to challenge constructively, influence outcomes, and support the business through complex change, including TUPE.

Please note: This is a hybrid role based in our York office, with travel required across our UK sites.

What You Will Do

  • Partnering with leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into clear, practical people actions.
  • Confidently influencing and challenging senior stakeholders — including pushing back where needed to manage risk and achieve better outcomes.
  • Leading complex employee relations cases end-to-end, applying sound judgement and ensuring fair, consistent outcomes.
  • Playing a key role in organisational change, including restructures, TUPE, consultations and workforce transitions.
  • Supporting organisational design, workforce planning, talent and succession planning in line with business needs.
  • Driving effective performance management through coaching leaders, supporting difficult conversations, and embedding accountability.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK employment law, internal policies, and HR standards.
  • Acting as a visible people lead, strengthening engagement, culture and leadership capability across the organisation.

What You Will Have

  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a People Partner, HRBP or senior advisory role.
  • Strong, hands-on TUPE experience — this is essential.
  • A confident professional presence, able to operate credibly with senior and board-level stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to challenge constructively, influence decisions, and hold your ground when required.
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice, and HR systems.
  • Strong judgement, communication and problem solving skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced, service driven environment.
  • A practical, operational mindset focused on delivery and impact.
