As a People Partner, you will work closely with leaders across the organisation to deliver high quality, practical people support that drives real operational impact. This is a hands on role where your ability to influence, challenge constructively, and show strong professional presence will be essential to enabling better decisions and stronger business outcomes. You’ll be a trusted advisor, providing clear, pragmatic guidance across the full employee lifecycle.
Please note: This is a hybrid role based in our York office, with travel required to our other UK sites.
Partner with leaders to understand their priorities and translate them into effective, people focused actions.
Confidently challenge and influence senior stakeholders, offering clear guidance, pushing back where needed, and helping steer decisions in the right direction.
Lead employee relations cases end-to-end, ensuring fair, consistent, and pragmatic outcomes.
Support organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
Oversee performance management cycles, including objective setting, coaching, and development support.
Ensure compliance with UK employment law, internal policies, and all HR standards.
Support change initiatives, guiding leaders and employees through organisational and cultural shifts.
Act as a cultural ambassador, strengthening engagement and fostering a positive employee experience.
7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a partner or senior role.
Strong, hands on TUPE experience (essential).
A confident professional presence, able to operate credibly at senior and board-facing levels.
Proven ability to challenge constructively, influence decisions, and hold your ground when required.
Solid knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice, and HRIS systems.
Strong communication, judgement, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
A practical, operational mindset focused on delivering meaningful impact.
