Role Introduction

About OneAdvanced

OneAdvanced is a Private Equity-backed, high-growth SaaS company, transforming how the UK’s most critical sectors operate – from healthcare and legal services to education and enterprise. With significant investment and ambitious goals, we are scaling at pace and building the infrastructure and teams that will shape the next chapter of our success story.

At the heart of that growth is talent. We are building a world-class workforce and need an exceptional leader to help us get there.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, high-impact Talent Acquisition Director to lead our global TA function. This is not a transactional role – it’s a strategic, visible, and commercially vital position. You’ll shape the future of our organisation by bringing in the best talent across the globe, helping us build and scale a TA function that is both data-informed and deeply human in approach.

You’ll be a visible and active leader within the People function and across the wider organisation, ensuring that TA strategies, plans, and activities are not built in isolation, but fully aligned with the goals and direction of the wider business.

You’ll lead and evolve our global Talent Acquisition team, working across key markets to deliver a scalable and high-performing hiring engine – while also ensuring we can access and attract the hard-to-find, critical talent that sets us apart.

What You Will Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and deliver a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
  • Establish what “great” looks like across all hiring activities, instilling a high-performance culture within the team.
  • Build a scalable, efficient, and tech-enabled TA model – while maintaining the agility and precision needed for niche, critical hires.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead, develop, and inspire the global TA team – ensuring capability, engagement, and delivery excellence.
  • Use data to define KPIs, report performance to the Executive Committee and investors, and shape the narrative with clarity and confidence.
  • Implement and optimise TA tools, processes, and employer brand initiatives to support a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experience.

Stakeholder Management & Influence

  • Operate as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and the wider People function.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business units, finance, DEI, and marketing to align on talent needs and outcomes.
  • Present and defend talent strategies at exco and board level, with clear rationale and data-led insights.

Brand & Candidate Attraction

  • Raise our talent brand visibility and reputation across the SaaS and tech community.
  • Create campaigns and thought leadership to boost inbound application quality and pipeline health.
  • Leverage your personal network and market knowledge to source exceptional, hard-to-reach talent.

What You Will Have

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience leading Talent Acquisition in a high-growth, fast-paced, and commercially driven environment – ideally in SaaS or technology.
  • Demonstrated success building high-functioning, scalable TA models and teams, globally or across multiple markets.
  • Strong grasp of niche talent attraction strategies, EVP, and employer branding.
  • Commercially astute – capable of engaging with C-suite and investors, presenting data-backed insights and solutions.
  • Track record of delivering quality over quantity – no compromise on standards.
  • Deep knowledge of recruitment tools, tech platforms, and assessment methodologies.

Attributes & Behaviours

  • High energy, intellectually curious, and emotionally intelligent.
  • Gravitas and credibility to influence at all levels of the business.
  • Passionate about talent and relentless in pursuit of excellence.
  • Hands-on leader – equally comfortable in the weeds as in the boardroom.
  • Outcome-oriented – driven by impact, not process.
  • Authentic, collaborative, and people-first in leadership style.

    What You’ll Get

    • Opportunity to shape and scale a talent function in a pivotal moment of OneAdvanced’s growth.
    • Autonomy, influence, and exposure to executive and investor-level decision-making.
    • A collaborative, high-performance culture with a clear vision and strong leadership.
    • Competitive salary, bonus scheme, and benefits.
    • Hybrid working model with headquarters in Birmingham.
