The Opportunity:

Your leadership will be key in:

• Optimising a £40M cloud estate that supports a £300M ARR business, balancing cost, performance, and scalability.
• Navigating the complexities of an amalgamation of organisations to build cohesive, efficient cloud operations.
• Collaborating with the executive team to provide operational stability and clarity, enabling them to focus on growth and strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a strategic operations leader with deep experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering. You should have:

• Proven Leadership: Demonstrable experience leading high-performing engineering teams within the cloud infrastructure space, ideally within SaaS or fast-growing technology environments.
• Cloud Expertise: Extensive knowledge of cloud computing technologies and IaaS solutions from major providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You should know how to optimise and scale large cloud estates effectively.
• Operational Excellence: A strong track record in infrastructure management, cost optimisation, automation, security, and ensuring high availability. You will be expected to drive operations to world-class standards.
• Strategic Vision: The ability to blend tactical execution with long-term strategic thinking. You should be able to make decisions that deliver immediate business outcomes while positioning the company for sustainable growth.
• Hands-On Problem Solver: A natural problem-solver who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You are calm under pressure and adept at leading teams through complex challenges.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into actionable business strategies.
