Role Introduction

This Solutions Consultant for our Learner Management System, PICS,  will provide a wide range of technical and educational based services to new and existing Education customers around our core LMS and Learner’s Skills and Knowledge solution.

 

In this role we are seeking someone with existing product knowledge of PICs, who uses the system in their current role

 

The role entails advising on good practice, process review, solution design and configuration, writing of concise design and requirements documents and delivery of user training, and consultancy. Experience within an ITP/FE environment and management of projects is essential to this role.

 

We are open to applicants around the UK, with only very occasional days in Birmingham HQ required. 

 

What You Will Do

  • Deliver remote and onsite consultancy and training to a high standard whilst ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals
  • Acting as the interface between the customer and Advanced for the duration of a project
  • Provide excellent customer service whilst effectively managing customer expectations and challenging their ideas and understanding to give a higher quality solution
  • To support and/or assist delivery and support functions in the UK, Republic of Ireland or overseas from time to time as required to achieve business objectives. This can include overseas travel
  • Escalate to senior management, as appropriate, issues that may jeopardise project outcomes
  • Ensure all appropriate systems, such as Project Booking System (OpenAir) are maintained in a timely manner to allow efficient resource planning and revenue reporting
  • Generation of further service opportunities by discussing customer needs as opportunities arise directly with customers and/or internal account managers as relevant
  • Support other areas of the business as appropriate

What You Will Have

  • Experience working in a ITP sector
  • Expert on PICs and Assessment management; deep product understanding 
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Ability to communicate with customers at all levels and provide a high quality service
  • Strong customer service and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work to deadlines managing multiple requests
  • Able to gather requirements through knowledge of the sector, the product, good practice, and focussed enquiry.
  • Produce concise, grammatically correct, clear documents
