Role Introduction

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially driven Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our Care vertical at OneAdvanced; one of the most critical and high-potential markets in our portfolio. With a current revenue base of £7M and a clear path to £30–50M, this is a rare opportunity to shape and lead a sector with a £150M addressable market.

You’ll bring deep domain expertise in the Care sector, ideally from within a software or SaaS business serving social care, residential, or domiciliary markets. You’ll be empowered to act as a mini-MD, owning vertical growth across strategy, GTM execution, product direction, marketing, sales, and M&A.

This is a role for a true builder- someone with a fresh perspective, sector credibility, and the hunger to turn a high-growth vertical into a strategic powerhouse. You'll lead a small team of circa 10 individuals initially, with clear runway to scale further. If you're passionate about transforming the care sector through technology, this is your platform.

What You Will Do

Lead and Scale the Care Vertical

  • Own and deliver the commercial growth plan for the Care sector, aligned to the broader OneAdvanced strategy.
  • Define and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy across customer segments and product lines- from net new acquisition to expansion and retention.
  • Actively engage in market development: shaping how OneAdvanced is positioned in the care ecosystem and influencing key stakeholders in the sector.
  • Lead the development and execution of account-based marketing (ABM) programmes to support revenue goals.

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Operate as the vertical GM; orchestrating product strategy, marketing, sales execution, partnerships, and customer success within the care domain.
  • Drive alignment across functions to ensure delivery of financial goals and customer outcomes.
  • Influence and guide product roadmap development for Care, bringing real market insight to technology innovation, including agentic AI and broader platform thinking.

Build and Empower a High-Performing Team

  • Lead, grow, and inspire a team of ~10, with plans to scale headcount in line with commercial growth.
  • Establish a strong performance culture based on accountability, outcomes, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to ensure talent development, succession planning, and team engagement.

Drive Inorganic Growth (M&A)

  • Work closely with the Corporate Development team to identify, assess, and integrate potential M&A opportunities in the Care space.
  • Bring deep market insight and relationships to the table to support due diligence and post-deal strategy.

What You Will Have

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Deep sector expertise in the UK Care market (residential, social, or domiciliary care), ideally gained within a software or SaaS business.
  • A proven commercial leader with a track record of driving growth in complex, regulated, or fragmented markets.
  • Experience owning or influencing a P&L and a strong grasp of GTM strategy, sales execution, and marketing within a vertical-focused model.
  • Strong understanding of how to scale SaaS propositions in vertical markets, including pipeline development, ABM, and customer success.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset: someone who can build from solid foundations, bring fresh thinking, and act with urgency.
  • Experience leading and scaling multi-disciplinary teams, with high levels of collaboration across product, marketing, sales, and customer success.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong network and relationships in the Care ecosystem are highly advantageous.

Success in 6–12 Months Looks Like:

  • Hitting in-year financial targets and accelerating toward the £30–50M revenue ambition.
  • Establishing a well-executed ABM strategy and building pipeline to support growth.
  • Aligning internal teams behind a clear Care sector vision and strategy.
  • Gaining trust across the organisation as a go-to leader and subject matter expert in the sector.
  • Bringing new energy, ideas, and momentum to how we operate and scale in Care.
